Finally, I completed my rough draft. Even though it still needs to be reviewed and revised, the framework for me is finally done. Deadlines are coming up soon for the senior papers, and with the first draft of my senior paper done, I am ready to be finished with it. I'm actually excited to get started on the project portion, and we meet with our mentors next month. Hopefully the senior paper won't present many more challenges before its due date.

When it comes to the senior paper, most of my time spent on it so far has been filling out note cards. We need at least 40, but I am told that we will probably need much more. We just started writing our rough drafts, which is a long process on its own. We use the note cards that we took to write our paper.
Since last entry I've started finding sources for my research paper, which has been going pretty well. My topic is how the music industry has changed since vinyl records. Finding my sources was easy, but now I'm going to have to write an outline and thesis statement in the span of a few days. We haven't even started taking notes yet, but I'm ready to start my project and be done with this research paper.
Yesterday in class we created our Weebly where we will document our Senior Projects throughout the year. One idea I had for my Senior Project was designing a video game. This would test my patience and allow me to see if coding is a viable option for a future job that I might enjoy. I have a few other ideas, so nothing is set in stone yet. It will be a tough year, but with some hard work this project should go smoothly.
